Exam Alert: Maxillary Predilection
The Maxillary sinus ostium is superomedial. Because drainage is against gravity, it is the most common site for infection.

Cellulitis, proptosis, painful eye movement.

Cavernous sinus thrombosis, abscess, meningitis.
